Yang Zi's "The Hairpin" Taiwan poster released

On March 25, Yang Zi starred in the costume detective drama “The Hairpin” released the Taiwan version of the to-be-broadcast poster, announcing its upcoming arrival on Taiwan screens. The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Sideways Light Cold, which ushered in the dawn after four years of twists and turns, which moved fans of the original story, and made Yang Zi's bond with her character even more of a focal point.

The drama was embroiled in controversy due to a name change and a change in the lead actor, and production was even halted for a time. Eventually, with Yang Zi's character Huang Zixian as the centerpiece, filming resumed and was renamed The Hairpin. In the Taiwan version of the poster, Yang Zi's look is considered to be a perfect reproduction of the classic scenes in the novel, showing the perseverance of a detective and the spirit of a young girl.

During the casting stage, Yang Zi's microblog copy coincided with Huang Zixia's lines, which was considered “divine casting”. During the filming, she showed superb dedication and even expressed her reluctance to leave the work many times after the drama stopped filming. Fans found that she had put the styling photos of the drama on the top of the page and couldn't help but exclaim that she was “Huang Zixia herself protecting the drama online”.

On the day of the release, the Taiwan version of the poster quickly hit the hot search, netizens teased “Huang Zixia's detective lantern lit up”. This drama may become the first mainland drama to enter Taiwan with the theme of “ancient female detective”, and the editing accurately hit the local audience's preferences. Fans of mainland dramas are looking forward to the collaboration between Yang Zi and Peng Guanying, believing that the combination of the two will become “the king of 2025 costume dramas”.
